Remarks: Beautiful and typical trilobite Ogyginus from the Middle Ordovician of Wales, England. The special thing about the piece is that although this trilobite looks like a negative at first glance, it is actually an original. This trilobite is connected to the matrix in such a way that the trilobite shell is in the hanging plate (upper layer). This means you can view the trilobite from “below”, so to speak. Such preservations are rather rare! Very beautiful and rare Collectible!
